Sci Girls I Day Two

We Love Lucy!  No, we're not talking about Lucille Ball the vibrant red-head from the popular 50s television program, but the lovable Arctic fox who decided to make the back of many of the Sci Girls a temporary path.  Today the girls were anxious to arrive at the Seacrest Wolf Preserve for a hands-on interactive experience like no other.  The morning began in the Small Animal Enclosure where many of the Sci Girls admired Sunny Hills Bill (an adorable groundhog) and cuddled with three frisky little skunks. Here they also had an opportunity to feed the raccoons and observe a foxhole up close.  To add to the excitement of the experience, the girls had a once in a lifetime opportunity during the wolf encounter.  Whose curiosity was greater - the girls or the wolves?  The first group howl in the wolf enclosure didn't warrant a great response from the rest of the wolves on the preserve; however, when there was an opportunity to elicit a response from Celeste (an arctic wolf) in conjunction with the Sci Girls, the entire preserve responded in kind.  What a great way to spend the day.  Wednesday we blast off with Water Rockets on the way to the STARS!
